O TERMO BIT

Vamos aprender a usar o termo “bit”, vejam como é simples:

1. Um pouco: A bit

Exemplos:
A) We ate a bit of bread.
(Nós comemos um pouco de pão.)


B) They need a bit of love.
(Eles precisam de um pouco de amor.)


C) Can I drink a bit?
(Posso beber um pouco?)


D) She´s feeling a bit better.
(Ela está se sentindo um pouco melhor.)


2. Algum tempo, um tempinho: A bit
Exemplos:
A) We´ll stay there for a bit .
(Nós vamos ficar lá um tempinho.)


B) We´ll be there in a bit.
(Estaremos aí daqui a pouco.)


3. Pouco a pouco, gradualmente: Bit by bit
Exemplo:
A) I was learning bit by bit.
(Eu estava aprendendo pouco a pouco.)


4. Nem um pouco: Not a bit
Exemplo:
A) Is she happy about that?”Not a bit!”
(Ela está feliz com isso?”Nem um pouco!”)


5. Fazer sua parte: To do your bit
Exemplo:
A) They´re doing their bit.,
(Eles estão fazendo a parte deles)
